Synopsis

"I came to Woodo to keep a promise I made with her ten years ago."
, directed by Song, Il-Gon, is about a man who came
to Woodo, an islet near Jeju Island, to keep a promise he made ten years
ago, to meet his first love. His ex-girlfriend doesn't come, but instead he
meets a pure and naive island girl.
Song presents a beautiful picture of a couple getting close together by
nature.

Director's Comment

is a story of an islet near Jeju Island. It is composed
with the events between a girl living on the islet, and a man who visits there.
Woodo is a place that represents nature, the refuge and present, which fills
the sense of emptiness he brought from the city.
Everybody has a longing for nature, but excuses that they are busy makes
them even forget that they have that kind of longing. I wanted to impart the
virtue of waiting that nature shows through a break we have once in a while.
